Hope Tiny Homes

It takes a community to change a life. The Hope Tiny Homes housing model is an affordable housing model centered around Tiny Homes curated in a planned Tiny Neighborhood with on-site grocery, medical clinic, gardening, and trauma services support focused on individuals experiencing trauma from homelessness. The Hope Tiny Homes housing model with a community name of Our Place, is FAITH CDC’s response to the lack of supportive housing in Gary. Today’s food pantry, rotating shelter model does not support and honor the individual at risk of homelessness. Foster Youth aging out of the foster system, Veterans needing specialized services and support, and individuals needing a fresh start will be grouped in care-based housing.

Our Place is a planned development located adjacent to FAITH Farms and Orchard, two blocks from the Pollinator Park & Walking Path and, two blocks from the Business Incubator. Our Place is located on the old “insert high school name” here property with conversion of the old high school into a full social services and rehabilitative clinic space.
